On Friday, July 10 at 7 pm, Michael taught a Zoom class to people for the St. Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral Community called, Power and Authority. The class lasted an hour with an opening prayer, lecture and then interactive discussion. Michael offered a brief reflection on the nature of power and authority and the difference between the two according to the Scriptures; how they differ from the world’s understanding and practice; and how understanding the difference should shape our thoughts and actions.
