Tales of Chivalry:
A Medieval Anthology

Fellowship & Fairydust-Tales of Chivalry: A Medieval Anthology is the first print of F&F, a literary magazine inspiring faith and creativity and exploring the arts through a spiritual lens. We follow in the footsteps of J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, G.K. Chesterton, George MacDonald and others who combined their Christian sacramental imagination with a love of storytelling. We also branch out into other storytelling traditions from around the world to cultivate intercultural and interreligious understanding. In this collection an international array of authors explores the imaginative legacy of the Middle Ages, in particular the theme of knighthood and the codes off honor that inspired heroism then and now. The content extends from the high drama of the stories of Arthurian Legend to the populist remixing of chivalry in Robin Hood and Reynard to the saintly reinterpretation of the motif of the troubadour. Together they show the range of the past epoch's imagination, and the rich vein for further exploration it has left us.

Michael Haldas's epic poem The Princess and the Palandin is included as part of this anthology.
