Provide/Provision

“God is kind by nature and always provides for our good and, when we ask Him for something, He will provide it, as long as it is for our good. Whatever is necessary for the salvation of our soul and for the maintenance of our physical existence, God will provide it in abundance, and we’ll have His blessing. Whatever He deprives us of, either to test us or to protect us, we accept with joy as well as with thoughtfulness, as it is for our benefit.” (Elder Paisios of Mount Athos)

“When it comes to our relationship with God, we each lack something. It may be courage, faith, strength, or any number of obstacles that keep us from encountering God…God will provide what we lack so that we can meet Him…When we bring what we have to offer, God will complete what we need and provide what we lack, so that we can go out to meet Him.” (Fr. Athanasios Haros)

“The Lord knows our problems and will provide us with what we need.” (Foundation Study Bible, Luke 12:27-29)

“…we too, oftentimes find that our dreams and plans are frustrated and lead to failure. We cannot help but wonder why God allows the earthly nests that we struggle so hard and work to build to fall apart and crumble before us. But the fact is that we cannot see as God does; if we too could judge events from the perspective of eternity, we would come to understand that God seeks for us a higher destiny, and a place of true serenity and provision for our deepest needs.” (Rev Andrew J. Demotses)

“God has chosen to do His work through people. He provides the resources, but willing hands must do the work.” (Life Application Study Bible, Haggai 2:8-9)
